Underground Taming of Floods

We use an approach of co-managing floods and groundwater depletion at the river basin/sub-basin scale by utilising ground water through pumping large quantities of water during non-rainy season to create storage space in aquifer and recharging of excess run-off flows during rainy season in aquifers.
