Groundwater NOC and dewatering for real estate and townships

Digging a basement below the water table? You need a NOC before the first pump starts.

Basement and tunnel dewatering is the most common reason builders get CGWA notices. The contractor starts pumping early, and the owner pays the compensation.

What CGWA will look at in your plant

⛔NOC before diggingGet the NOC before excavation. Pumping without it attracts environmental compensation, minimum Rs 1 lakh.
📊Report and model, alwaysAny dewatering needs an Impact Assessment Report with a 5 km model, whatever the quantity, including the risk of ground settlement.
♻️Reuse the pumped waterUse it for curing, construction and dust control. Meter the discharge and keep records for two years.
🚿Building rulesSTP above 20,000 litres a day, dual plumbing, and porous tiles on parking areas.
🌆Over-exploited areasGroundwater for construction only if no treated sewage water is available within 10 km.

How we take you through it

Step 1Plan

Dewatering quantity and duration from the basement design.

→
Step 2Model

Impact Assessment Report with the 5 km model.

→
Step 3NOC

File and get the NOC before excavation.

→
Step 4Monitor

Meter, piezometers and reuse until the basement is sealed.
