Industries and infrastructure projects that draw groundwater need a No Objection Certificate from the Central Ground Water Authority, or from the state authority where a state regulates groundwater itself. The application stands on the Impact Assessment Report: what the aquifer can sustain, what your pumping will do to water levels around the site, and how you will offset it. As a CGWA/RGI-accredited Ground Water Professional institution, we prepare these reports with or without groundwater modelling, depending on the volume and the stress in your block.
What you get
- Impact Assessment Report (IAR) with or without groundwater flow modelling
- Resource assessment following the GEC-2015 methodology and the latest CGWB block data
- Water audit and site water balance
- Online application filing and replies to queries
- NOC renewal, including review of compliance with existing conditions
- Piezometer construction, flow meters, recharge structures and monitoring reports
Who it is for
Manufacturing plants, beverage and food units, pharma, textiles, distilleries and ethanol plants, power plants, townships and real estate.
Common questions
Which authority issues the NOC?
CGWA under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, except in states and union territories that regulate groundwater through their own authority. We confirm the right authority at the scope call.
When is groundwater modelling required?
It depends on the abstraction volume, the block category and the authority's current guidelines. We tell you at the start whether your case needs an IAR with modelling, so there is no surprise at the query stage.
Do you handle renewals and show-cause notices?
Yes. Renewals turn on compliance with the conditions of the existing NOC. We audit that compliance, fix gaps on the ground, and prepare the technical reply.
